Pangkor Holiday Trip - 2Days 3Nights (4th May to 6th May)

Approximately 2hrs drive from KL to the Lumut Jetty
Then 40-45 minutes ferry ride to Pangkor Island

We'll leave very early Thursday(4th) morning for Pangkor. Ferry schedule is as follows:-

FERRY SCHEDULE LUMUT – TELUK DALAM JETTY – LUMUT
Lumut – Teluk Dalam Teluk Dalam – Lumut
7.15am 8.00am
8.45am 9.35am
11.00am 12.15pm
1.45pm 2.30pm
3.30pm 4.30pm
5.15pm 6.00pm
7.00pm 7.30pm

most probably will go for the 8.45am-9.35am or 11.00am-12.15am ferry

1)Transportation fees

Ferry per person (to and fro) = RM16.00
Toll total (to and Fro) = RM34.80
Petrol total (to and fro) = RM100.00 (variable depending on whomever's vehicle you're in)

RM16 + RM34.80 + (RM100/6)

2) Accomodation = Bungalow Chalet (RM260 per night) @ Teluk Dalam Resort (4 Stars)The hotel located at the North-Eastern part of the Island. The resort sits on a bay so we should have calm waters. The bungalows that we will be staying in is the nearest to the beach and has fewer neighbours so we'll have more privacy la. THis price is inclusive of breakfast for 4. but i'm sure we can get them to cut out the breakfast to lower the cost. It also comes with forest view and a private balcony.

2 Bedrooms (Floor Area : 1112 Square feet)
Master bedroom comes with king sized bed and attached bathroom with a long bath
Guestroom comes with two single beds and an attached bathroom with standing shower
Living room has sofa, teatable and TV
Dressing table, Astro, minibar, hair dryer and Air Conditioning for both rooms.


Extra mattress is at RM40 per night. Includes extra breakfast.

Because this package is ideally for four people, there will only be breakfast for 4 iF we don't order the extra mattresses. If we DO order the extra mattress it'll cost more and also, I don't think it's worth it since the breakfast is only worth RM25. And afterall, we already have more than enough beds for more than 4 per chalet not to mention an extra sofa in the living room, so I think we'll all be pretty comfortable la even without ordering extra mattresses. (can split the beds ma)

so if there's 20 people going i think having 2 - 3 chalets would be much more comfortable. but if you guys really wanna save cost and cramp all into one chalet then.. up to you la.

3) Grand TOTAL per person=>
Transportation fees = RM38.50
Accomodation fees (per chalet for 2 nights) = RM260 x2 = RM520 / 10 = RM52.00
= RM38.50 + RM52.00
=> RM90.50.

4)As for activities, here are the list of things we can do ofcourse this also means more money. So I'm letting you guys know first, though I am unsure of the price.

Activities
Round Island Trip
See how local live their unique lives, get awed by historical monuments, and visit fish processing factories and other interesting structures and extablishments. (this is boring shit la if you ask me)


Snorkelling Treat
Take a short boat ride to Coral Island and discover the glory of coral reefs and other marine life.(i would really love to go snorkelling. those who can't swim, don't worry. you'll by provided[possibly] with life-jackets and flippers to help you stay afloat and move around)

Fishing Safari
Another short boat ride to Pulau Sembilan is a must for anglers and those who merely want to explore. Packed lunches are provided.(i don't think many of us fish. or even own a fishing rod to begin with)

Round Island Cruise
Go on a speedboat and circumnavigate Pulau Pangkor, Coral Bay, Teluk Segadas, Pulau Raja and Teluk Rubiah. Stops are made at Teluk Segadas where you can swim, and at Coral Bay to snorkel. (this is also chun.)


and as for the facilities they have :

2.Children's wadding pool with water slide ->don't think we're gonna go for this

5.Children's nursery room ->we definitely won't be using thsi facility.
6.Jungle trekking ->this could be fun unless you guys don't feel like exercisingla

9.Beach Volleyball ->this could be fun

*Extra Notes:

one thing's for sure, if there's a big group going, we can obviously book an entire boat to ourselves which would save cost. also it's better than sharing it with other people. so we can save cost on the snorkelling or round island cruise thingies.

We can also rent vans or a minibus as our means of transportation around the island, if there is a big group going(which would save cost). The other alternative is to rely on the pink taxis that are there in Pangkor Island itself, to get around.
